For over two decades, through the development of time-saving processes and programs, I've specialized in improving the productivity and retention of lawyers and their firms. Having graduated with high honours in Human Resource Management, I have excelled in the professional resource field at both a national law firm and a litigation boutique. My experiences vary from organizing the Gale Cup Moot for six years, assisting in the creation of a reading program in area elementary schools, and volunteering on the board of a local-artisans group.
My husband and I have two children, have resided in Georgetown for close to 30 years, and when we are not around town, we can be found relaxing at our cottage.
The driving force in my personal and professional life has always been people. It is that which ensures not to define myself by what I do, but rather, by what I deliver - Results which enrich your firm's value to its clients and employees.
I am driven by a sincere desire to help law firms and lawyers grow their business by becoming more efficent. Working in professional resources at a Bay Street national law firm, a Toronto litigation boutique, and organizing Canada's premiere bilingual law school mooting competition has helped me hone my skills.
I am a member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA), and the Professional Development Consortium (PDC).

I worked closely with Lesley in her role as Director, Student and Associate Programs at Lenczner Slaght when I was the partner responsible for the student program. She is knowledgeable, organized and efficient. She is also very easy to work with.
I worked with Lesley at Lenczner Slaght for many years. I have tremendous regard for her and her skills, and recommend her very highly.
I recommend Lesley without hesitation. When I was a new lawyer, Lesley was a thoughtful and helpful director of associate programs at the firm where we worked. Later, I had the pleasure of continuing to work with Lesley when she was the primary planner behind a national law school moot. She is always the most organized and prepared person in the room.
Lesley Bell headed our professional staff management during the 7 years that I was Managing Partner of Lenczner Slaght through the end of 2017 and prior to me taking on that role. Lesley consistently reflected the skill, perceptiveness and organizational abilities that made our firm run smoothly and my role so much easier. Her dealings with our lawyers and students was marked by her calm and helpful approach to any issues that arose. Lesley will be an asset to any group that retains her to help with their organization.
I had the opportunity to work closely with Lesley in staging the Gale Cup Moot, Canada's premier bilingual moot court competition. Organizing the competition required extensive organizational skills. Lesley was more than equal to the task. I was struck by her efficiency, attention to detail and communication skills, and would make a significant contribution to any organization.
As someone who worked with Lesley for years, I can say that she is an absolute pleasure to work with - smart, organized, and dedicated. Lesley is a team player and I would have no hesitation in recommending her.
Lesley is organized and efficient. She is methodical when completing tasks, but then quietly addresses the unanticipated problems. Lesley has enormous empathy. She is the kind of person who is indispensable when one is trying to grow an organization.
I worked closely with Lesley for many years in various roles. I highly recommend her. Lesley has a deep knowledge of professional development and recruitment in the legal industry and would be a great help to any law firm that is trying to improve in these areas. Lesley is also a great colleague and a joy to work with.
I worked closely with Lesley for several years. Lesley is dedicated, professional, organized and gets along easily with others. Lesley is an asset to any organization.
Lesley worked in legal practice management and education with my law firm for almost 10 years. She concentrated on professional development and developing continuing education for our legal professionals. Lesley is also qualified in attracting new talent and managing associate performance appraisals to focus their needs and development. She professional, organized and committed. I have no hesitation in recommending Lesley.
